We are told to start blogs about something we are passionate about. That way perhaps the blog will get more than a few entries. I realize that I don't have the best track record with keeping my blogs updated but this one I hope will be different. Because I have thought long and hard about what I am passionate about and this city I live in, Vancouver, is something that I could write on forever.

In fact I am planning on it. My next series of books are paranormal thrillers set in this city and I am working on the first one now. The first book I self published,The Bond, A Paranormal Love Story is set in Vancouver.

From my apartment I have a great view of the North Shore mountains and the cranes at the Port of Vancouver.

I just took that photo from my balcony. Isn't it beautiful? One day I will take a photo of what it looks like at night. Gorgeous if I do say so myself.

There is also quite a view of the dumpster, the alley, the garbage as well as the dumpster divers. Sometimes interesting things happen though like the time two teenage girls were being followed by a baby seagull. That was funny. Or when I saw a skunk running along. Interesting.

So I hope you will join me on my journey around this city. I will try to remember to take my camera with me when I go on long walks and record what I see. You will also learn some about me and 'hear' about my writing trials and tribulations. And all the successes I am on the road to gaining!

I welcome your comments, questions, suggestions etc. Just remember I moderate all comments before publication. Gotta keep the weirdos out - at least those who are too much weirder than I! LOL

  1. Awesome view! I hope you get some great pics of the ships as well! I love ships! LOL! What I remember most about Vancouver, besides the awe-inspiring farmers market, is the people I saw bustling about the city. Some candid shots of the locals would be interesting, too!

  2. I like posts about the towns where people live and what they see. You could blog about the history, the people, celebrations. You would never run out of things to say. Good Luck!
